Pan IIT Alumni Leadership Series

(PALS)

Pals is an educational initiative of Alumni of all IITs, supported by IIT Alumni Industry Interaction Centre (IITAIIC) and IIT Madras Alumni Charitable Trust (IITMACT) for the benefit of students of selected engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu (to start with). PALS today offers a yearlong program with various activities for the students, faculty and management of Engineering Institutions.

Industry Projects and Internships are provided to the students to provide them with an exposure to industry. The offerings are frequently revised to keep them in tune with changing market conditions

From Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering 1219 students and 69 faculty members were benefited thought various activities from PALS(2018-19)

PALS conducts various events though out the year like, campus lecture series, Theory to Practice Lectures, Live web streaming(T2P), Educational summit, FDP, Industrial visit to faculty and students, residential workshops, innowah, Research at IIT Madras, Industry Internships.

Theory to Practice

T2P – Theory to Practice Lectures are usually given by IIT professors who have consulted for industries or who have knowledge about lab to real life products which have had a social impact.
