NSS Special Camp 2019

Introduction
The National service Scheme (NSS) unit of Aalim Muhammed salegh college of Engineering (AMSCE) was started with the objective of developing students’ personality through community service. Every year the NSS unit of AMSCE is conducting special camp programme in the adopted village. For NSS Special Camp of the academic year 2018-19, Palavedu Village, Thiruvallore District was selected, after analysing the village physical environment, basic civic amenities and the social conditions of the village. A fact-finding mission was conducted before the camp by the programme officer, faculties and volunteers under the guidance of Dr.M.Afzal Ali Baig, Principal, AMSCE and Mr.Ravindran Naidu, Palavedu Village Ex-Panchayat President. The fact-finding team had discussions with the village officials, school head masters and the volunteer group of the Palavedu village and finalised the community service programme in the village.
