We inculcate students to take up industry based projects. Our lab is equipped with modern infrastructure that facilitate to the students to do research oriented developments and enhance their intellectual power during the course of study.

Lab Facilities

The department has laboratories fully equipped with 63 nodes and 3 servers namely Windows, Linux and Web Server and state-of-the-art-equipments.

For soft skills training, we have 70 nodes with a dedicated single server.

The laboratories are well equipped with modern state-of-art infrastructure facilities.

Library

A spacious library (6000 sq.ft) consisting of more than 19,121 volumes of books on different branches and 140 Indian and Foreign Journals, Magazines and weeklies to enrich the knowledge of students to keep them abreast of the latest developments in Arts, Science and Technology. The library is computerized with bar-coding system with reprographic facility.

Industrial Visits

Industrial Visits have regularly been arranged to the students by the department with a view to enhance their Practical knowledge and exposure towards the happenings in the IT industry. These regular industrial visits offer adequate exposure to the students and would make them more competent in their future assignments in India and abroad as well.

Our III MCA & II MCA students were visited SHAR – Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota on 22/09/2016.

Industry Linkage

• We conduct regular training programme for our aegis regardless of their proposals and timeliness.

• We make use of our alumni for conducting regular workshops, seminars and Training Programs.

• We conduct regular on-line test based on Placement & Training Curriculum set by the Department.

• We have conducted many IILPs( Industry – Institution Linking Program) and we started a SDP(Student Development Programme) on “Comprehensive Solutions using Android Technology” on 13^th & 14^th March 2013 and the resource persons are from UNIQ Solutions, Chennai and and continues every year.

• We conduct Placement training with highly profiled companies for our students on regular basis with the aim that to fulfill the industry needs in the area of Aptitude, Communication Skills, Technical Skills.

In-house Training Facility

The department is having a technical Team called TECHNOWITZ –with the theme – All your technology needs rolled into one easily digestible format, with members of all MCA Faculty with activity throughout the year to develop the leadership, organizational and technical skills of the students.

Placement Facility

Our dedicated and sincerely hardworking cell called CPD,(Career and Planning Development Cell) headed by Prof. Ravikumar and his teammates Mr. Mohammed Rafeek, & Mr. Alagesan to endure pastoral guidance to focused aspirant for carving top-notched Jobs in Top-level industries.

Our CPD cell assists alumni to get High Placement Opportunities in well established organizations and MNCs consistently even after their completion of course.

Socio-Techno Forum

With deep tie ups and coordination with NGOs and Other members of Faculty in other colleges, this forum with more commitment and involvement have been inculcates and provides opportunities for students to participate in various forums, technical and non-technical and social commitments in around Tamil Nadu.

A NGO called UNIPRO ( United Professional Association) – www.uni-pro.org has been giving hand-to-hand tie-up with our department to facilitate Socio-Techno activities with no time frame. We inculcate our IT aspirants to go with social ownership refer to public ownership, co-operative ownership and citizen ownership of equity in their life time.
