Dr.C.MAKENDRAN M.E., Ph.D. is working as Assistant Professor and Head in the Department of Civil Engineering, Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering, Chennai from the year 2009. He obtained his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Annamalai University in 2006 and obtained his Master degree in Transportation Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in 2009. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering in the year 2018 from Anna University, Chennai. He holds vast experience of 10 years in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate Civil engineering courses. He has worked as Assistant Project Engineer in Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project, Tamil Nadu Highways Department for 1 year.

He is specialized in Highway Engineering, Pavement Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Surveying, Railway Engineering, Airport Engineering, Harbour Engineering.

He has published several research articles in national and international journals of repute. He has done the several Consultancy work in Indian Railways Projects, Chennai.
