Aalim Muhammed Salegh Group of Educational Institutions Celebrates Samathuva Pongal
Chennai, 13th January 2025: The Aalim Muhammed Salegh Group of Educational Institutions AMS College of engineering,AMS Academy of Architecture & AMS polytechnic college celebrated Samathuva Pongal with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor at its campus. The event, symbolizing unity and cultural heritage, saw the participation of faculty, students, and staff, all dressed in vibrant traditional attire.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Divya Jagankumar, a renowned journalist, TV anchor, and newsreader, who distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions, including rope pulling, kolam competition, uri adi (pot breaking), and lucky corner competitions.
The celebrations were further elevated by the presence of the institution’s leadership, including the CEO, Mr. Mohamed Salegh, and prof.A.Muhamed abdul kader – Advisor who also distributed prizes to the winners, acknowledging their enthusiastic participation.
The program was meticulously organized by Prof. Dr. Marimuthu, Prof. Kadeer Ahamed, and Prof. Paul, with active involvement from department heads, senior professors, and students. The event reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting cultural values while fostering a sense of community and harmony.
