The Department of Chemistry was started to cater the needs of all Engineering Branches in matters relating to Chemistry at the first year level and to update the students with the knowledge in the field of Chemistry and Environmental studies.
The Department of Chemistry has its vision to produce quality engineers with high ethical and professional standards for various engineering and allied fields with essential knowledge in chemistry and the environment. The faculty of Chemistry ensures students participation and contribution towards a clean and healthy environment with the eco-friendly green technology is our core mission.
Presently, the department is ably supported by 7 dedicated and qualified faculty members and 2 lab instructors. The faculty members are pursuing higher educational programmes at reputed universities to elevate their knowledge in the current scenario of research.
